The Zaftig

This is the Zaftig.  I used a Carvin C22J Humbucker pickup on the neck and a Carvin C22B Humbucker pickup on the bridge. I put coil splitters to get both a humbucker sound as well as a Stratocaster sound.  The bridge is a Carvin 6 string fixed bridge/tailpiece.  I use Sperzel locking tuning machines on the neck.  The paint is a four stage nitrocellulos laquer paint job, blue with white pearl.

The Silhouette

This model is the Silhouette.  I use the same Carvin Pickups on this model as the Zaftig, as well as Sperzel locking tuning machines.  This guitar will come a 3 way selector.  The bridge/tailpiece from Wilkinson.  I used an oil stain and Tru Oil Gun Stock Finish  on this one for a more natural wood finish.

The Fat Bottom

Here is the Fat Bottom.  This guitar has 3 humbucker pickups.   The neck pickup is a Carvin C22J for smooth buttery tones.   The middle pickup is a Carvin C22N witch compliments the C22J with plenty of power, and the bridge pickup is a Carvin M22SD.  The Carvin M22SD is very rich, creamy, and fat.  It is everything you want to acheive a very hard rockin sound.  This guitar will give you wo many different sounds, it truely is a dream to play.  This model has a multistage finsh with laquer clear.  I used Sperzel locking tuning machines.  All JMD Guitars come standard with Sperzel locking tuning machines.  I used gold plated hardware on this particular guitar.  Gold plated hardware will be an option on all JMD Guitars.
